Reserving the Upper Deck at Pier 290 was the best choice we could have made for our wedding dinner! We were able to access the space early to do our first look on the balcony and drop off bags, which was super helpful since we were from out of town. We had 36 people and the room was absolutely perfect for our group. The room was gorgeous (which was a bonus because we didn’t need to bring extra decorations), the food was delicious (people couldn’t stop talking about the steak or the flourless chocolate cake), and the staff went above and beyond to make sure our event was perfect. We worked with Taylor and Johnell mostly, and we appreciate how thoughtful they both were. Thanks again to everyone!!!
Update* 6/15 If you added a meatball sub to the menu one day that would blow my mind. Holy cow do we love this restaurant. Came here for my daughter's 7th birthday on ta Wednesday and our server Tylor couldn't have done a better job of making the experience awesome for us. And the food is amazing! Everything is made fresh even the potato chips. We come here for a Christmas ferry ride every year and have never been disappointed by the food or the service. I gave them 5 stars because that's as high as it goes but pretend I'm adding 5 more for a 10 star review on atmosphere, food and of course service
There were cheaper options on the menu, but the high-quality options seem priced right. I’ve eaten here many times and I’m never disappointed. I’m hesitant to post this review as I want to keep eating here and don’t want to see it overcrowded lol keep up the great work and dining options
First time with me and my wife and it was to die for. Food was phenomenal and the band playing made the atmosphere fun and inviting. Would definitely recommend on a Friday night
What a unique dining experience! Everything was perfect from walking into this beautiful and cozy restaurant, to the cheerful service. I had the Scottish salmon bowl, every ingredient cooked to perfection; the chicken pot pie was homemade and the fish fry was yummy. Eating in one of their lakeside igloos (there is an up charge of 40), was especially fun. I look forward to my next visit to this gem of a place. I believe the prices were reasonable.
Pier 290 is one of if not the most favorite place for my family and I to go. It really feels like you are away on a trip some place far away. The atmosphere is top notch. It’s so relaxing and fun. Pier 290 never disappoints. Everyone working there is professional and caring. It’s a must see and a must experience. We go every year for Father’s Day. I could go there every weekend.
Short distance from the city yet you feel like you've been transported to a simpler place and time. Great way to relax and enjoy the local hospitality. Music is always good. I highly recommend you make the trip.
